A good listening web site

Hi my colleges, I would like to post a good web site for learning English that, I hope, increase our listing and speaking skills.

This web site provides a set of listening quizzes that we can listen based on the learner level (Easy, medium and Difficult levels).

The web site URL is http://www.esl-lab.com/index.htm

Please let me know your comments about this web site.

Yes, this is a good site. Also try elllo.com for good, authentic listenings.

Thanks Omar for starting this thread.

Listening was on my list of things I wanted to discuss with the students either in class or on the blog because of its importance for each successful learner.

Listening whether in the mother tongue or in a foreign language precedes all other skills, and this importance should be acknowledged.

Shall we use this thread to discuss our views on listening as a skill, what difficulties we experience when listening to others and how we can improve our listening skills?

This is the place where we can share ideas, links and resources as well.

The listening forum is already open!

Best regards,
ralitza

Hi everyone,

Here is another useful listening site:

http://www.carolinebrownlisteninglessons.com/

These are listening lessons accompanied by vocabulary exercises that revise and test key words from the recordings.

Check it out and tell us what you think?

Is the level right or too easy?
Are the vocabulary exercises useful?
What do you think of the site?

Warm regards.
