Hi everyone,
and thank you Ashraf for sharing your opinion about the blog in class.
I thought it might be a good idea to provide this thread (a series of posts related to the same topic) and ask you to share your thoughts and perceptions of the process of blogging.
You can describe your experience so far and I would encourage you to return to this thread regularly (perhaps once a week) and add any new feelings, emotions, revelations*.
So, what are you initial thoughts and how would you describe your first blogging experience?
Regards,
ralitza

Hi friends
i want from you to share me with this question " what is the key to excellent speaking".
I think number 1 is fluency.
Fluency means the ability to speak(and understand )english quickly and easly without translation, and there is one way to get fluency:
"listening is the key"
what kind of listening is the best?
it must understandable and must be repetitive.
Hello everyone,
I think that from the teacher's viewpoint a blog offers us many possibilities, and I have been encouraged by the number of posts on this one to set up my own with my own students.
A blog can give students the chance to prepare in advance for a lesson, so they turn up to class familiar with the theme they are going to deal with and the vocabulary linked to it. It is a chance for students to publish some of their own writing and have it read and evaluated by their peers (classmates). I think it also encourages the class to bond, which should make the class a more cohesive (stuck together) group, better able to work together. It can start and maintain discussions which can be useful from the learning point of view. As we have seen recently, it can give members a chance to express their passions and anxieties.
So keep blogging!
