Hi everyone,
This is our final week. I’d like to invite you to reflect on the whole experience of blogging and decide on whether you'd like to continue with the blog or not. There are three tasks for you to do this lesson:
1. Do the surveys. The questions are: Do you want to continue with the blog? Do you want us to open the blog to a wider audience?
2. Do the evaluation questionnaire.
3. Read how the other students have answered the same questions and comment on their answers.
Here is the EVALUATION QUESTIONNAIRE.
A) Reflection on your posts and participation on the blog.
Look back at your posts and write a short paragraph evaluating the quality and regularity of your writing. Consider the following ideas:
original idea (no copy paste from internet resources)
target reader (how easy to read and of interest your post might be for your reader)
organisation and paragraphs
range of vocabulary and grammar
spelling, puntuation
use of enhancement: pictures, videos
regular posts of average length
What do you need to work more on?
You can use the scale from 1 to 10 ( 1- very poor, 10- excellent)
B) Evaluation of the experience
1. How would you describe your first blogging experience now after 8 weeks of blogging?
2. Did you find it useful? Why/Why not?
3. List some of the benefits of blogging for you.
4. What might be a reason for the lack of participation on the part of some students?
5. Did the blog manage to address your specific student`s needs?
6. Do you think blogging should be intergrated in the language classroom? Why/Why not?
7. How do you see the role of the blogging teacher. How can she/he encourage students to write?
8. What suggestions for the future use of students' blogs would you like to make?

B) Evaluation of the experience
1. I think there is a small bit of improving in my writting skills and i think i need to increase and work more on blogging.
2. I think blogging is very rich and usefull way to increase our english writting skills without need to go for using the traditional pens and papers.
3. Some benefits of blogging are:
- Forcing me to write diffrent articles about diffrent subjects.
- Increasing my knowledge about the blog subjects which i read.
- Increasing my knowledge about the diffrent cultures and enviroments that my collegues come from.
4. Reason for the lack of my participation on the part of some students:
I think there is a common lack in bloging for the all blogging parts including the new posts and the commenting on the posts of my collegues. Really by the end of course i think it is a big mistake from me to ignore the blog participation.
5. Did the blog manage to address your specific student`s needs?
I think so. especially the blog address the writting and reading skills that we need to work on it.
6. Do you think blogging should be intergrated in the language classroom? Why/Why not?
Yes the blogging is integrated with our classroom. Because it focus on the writting and reading skills. Also it give our teacher the way to evalute the students weaks on the writting skills.
7. How do you see the role of the blogging teacher. How can she/he encourage students to write?
Really our teacher tried more and more to encourage us to make blogging and also try to comment on the our blogs to see us our errors.
8. What suggestions for the future use of students' blogs would you like to make?
i hope for us to keep blogging as we can.

Thanks to everybody who answered the questionnaire. Can I encourage those who haven't, to answer those questions that they'd like to answer. I understand that for those who haven't posted much it will be difficult to reflect in Part A, but could I ask you to reflect on the blogging experience (Part B? This could serve as a clear indicator how you look at the experience and what you found useful or not so much and why.
I am still surprised by some of your answers. Can I ask you, Fatina, whether that is what you really think or there was another reason for your answer? I find it really strange because you were one of the most active participants on the blog, so what kept you on the blog so long if you didn't think it was useful? I am really bewildered, it doesn't make sense to me. Could you explain please?
It is important for me and for all teachers who would like to try blogging in their classes to try to see from the perspective of the student.
I must admit there are very few blogging classes in Doha, perhaps a couple only and there could be a certain form of resistance anticipated from students but what I really want to find out is what we did wrong (if we have made any mistakes on the way) and how to avoid the pitfalls next time.
As for my reflection on the experience, I must say that it was very enriching, I enjoyed it and was inspired by what was going there. And I must say that there were a lot of things going on the blog: the blog was thought-provoking, experimenting, challenging, inspiring, reflective, teaching, sharing....
But what is the lesson we leant for the next blog?

Sorry for the delaybof submitting my evaluatio, I' ve made it seven times, each time i thought it was drafted, but was not
there, sorry all that was due trouble in internet connection.
Ofcorse I will go on blogging, I am not going to lose an easy, practical way of enriching my E. language & personal culture.
to open our blog for wider audience, I agree but we have to select through using the invitation way, we hope to attract more active positive persons, to enrich the blog with more attractive, trusted& various opinions.
2) evaluation:
I didn't use to evaluate my self or any of my personal products, such as opinions; ideas, but when i joined our class I was having some comments on my colleagues, such as missing ideas , no opinion, no target, alsono comptition.
regarding that i was trying to hold the flag& cross through the battle screaming (( wake up))& other times was showing of my little E. language skills to create the atmosphere of comptition, was not personally issue, but was a help to others& me, might be wrong or right, but i was having good target of that.
Also i was trying to get more benefits of joining our class, you gave us very good space of creation& that was good to communicate with others, give opinions, showing culture, developing language & communication skills.
I met various kinds of character, i liked them almost all of them, I can considet almost all of them friends of mine now.
my posts didn' target all readers, i meant that, I was trying to attract some who might enrich the level ofa cultural dialogue, with inbetween lines meanings& some strange similes, by any way was not to show of.
pragraph& sentence structure, ideas clarity was not ever on well condition, but since i' ve received your appreciated comments& am trying my best to avoid that defaults, but not yet suceeded.( seems will take time) .
My topics was never contataining any couraging elements to readers, that is in a purpose of showing that words is more attractive than pics, or videos& as i said before, I was not trying to attract all readers.
B) i will continue later on.
B) Evaluation:
1- within 4 days from starting the course& I am totally convinced& i found it very attractive, exciting& realy i enjoyed.
2- i found it the most useful way of learning, if you got the main idea, target of it, it is attractive, makes u feel free, give you more self confidence, sharing others knowledge, opinions, cultures, save the class time, makes atmosphere of comptition, develope the skills of students, makes good reference& record of the developement of each student.
3- all the mentioned in B 2 + it made me know more people, discover their personality through their posts, i made new friends, was good training of how to share, agree& even differ from others' opinions.
4- Only Missing target& being stuck in routonic ancient ways of education, not ready for developing their selves& especially their way of thinking.
5- yes it did, it made me review my needs & consider some are not required, so it was deleted& it showed to me other neefs which i fidn't recognize before.
6- yes but the limit of stidents' readiness for the blogging process.
7- actual she/ he has the biggest role in that, she/he must give hand for all their student to encourage them to share in the blog& that might be by posting various tppucs& posting comments by the teacher& also teacher has to show the personal interest of blg in order to show the imporyance of the process, also class discussions fot the posts are very important from teachers to their students.
8- well till now i dont have any clear idea, but it should be used by mext classes, for example we can invite the recently joined students to the same blog& that way will make them get the previous experiences of old students& build up on the past achieved goals.
c) commenting on others posts :
will shoot later on, but remember that it will never be piecefull comments : )

Its because I am having a cold .
About the answer , yes the Book is more useful then the Blogg because at the Beginning I was so happy with the blogg then I released the students were not interested in blogging and the others were behaving so rood with there comments
And I find out from the other writing with no target or yam in there writing they where writing like a diary with a lot of wrong spelling that was not useful for as
The reason that kept me in the Blogg was you and the useful web pages that you give as that was my only reason of staying in the blogg and I will cheek the blogg from time to time to see if there is any new things in it I like to wish you good luck in your new blogg with new students may be it will be better then our blogg I wish if you will invite me to your new blogg.

hi Fatina, am checking the blog daily more than three times, it was nice to find such a new comment, even if the comment its self was not nice.
your comment is very late, i noted that all your comments was better to be mentioned during the class time, in order to guide us as colleagues.
whatever i want to tell as students, we should have typographical or spelling mistakes& that' s why we are all in a position of students, you also have a massive number of mistakes& all of your mistakes were the same as you described others' mistakes.
being rude was such a way of guidance, it wad not personal issue, I think you should be happy for any comment, especially when your receive it from one of the colleague.
yes lot of topic writers, were missing target, but have you ever redirect any one of them to the right target ( that is in case of u r already knowing what was the target).
for example realistic last topic was very good, waleed topic also was having a good trial which was deserving a support from us, i think you look on others mistakes without mentioning your mistakes! please can you tell us what was your of mistakes?
for ms Ralitza I hope that she will invite other new students to our blog, instwad of drstroying the existing one & starting a new blog , our blog was very succesfull exprience& i am sure at least am one of her best students.
also i was placing the topics on the blog because i love it& i respect the creation area which was provided by ms ralitza.
i hope u got the meaning even with my spelling mistakes.
also i want to tell you, that you & all the colleagues have to come back to our loving blogme& enrich it with the topics, nice& even rude comments.

courage. noun
encourage. verb means give the strength or the confidence to do some thing.
so the correct sentence is:
please give them the courage to place their topics again on our blogme.
or
please envourage them to ........
& by that way we can benefit from our mistakes :)
